This replica of the Steyr GB pistol is produced by Tokyo Marui and is a non-blowback pistol.

The Steyr GB was touted as the ultimate 9mm pistol when it was first announced, but it's popularity was badly dented by the GLOCK 17 pistol whilst competing against it in a testing competition for the Austrian Army service pistol contract.

It was also entered in a similar competition to be the service pistol of the U.S. military and was ultimately beaten by the Beretta M9.

The real steel version of this gun fires 9mm Parabellum rounds in semi-automatic mode only.
