This is a Tokyo Marui replica of the Heckler & Koch G36C assault rifle.
The G36 series of rifles fires 5.56mm ammunition, and comes in a variety of configurations from the full-sized G36 through to this, the shortest variant. The "C" designation originally stood for "Commando", but due to trademark issues with Colt it was renamed to "Compact".
One of the most distinctive features of the G36 series of rifles are the translucent magazines. In the airsoft world, the standard magazines that come with the rifles have a number of dummy rounds inside the magazine to increase the aesthetics.
The magazines can also be clamped together without the need for any extra accessories. Very handy!
