I couldn't think of anywhere else to put this image. I suppose it is a part of the family now, so this is the best place for it.

This is my "new" Seat Ibiza SE. A 1391cc beast of pure power (*cough*). Still, its a nicer drive than Emma's snot-green Micra, with its piddly little 990cc engine. It has power-steering too, which is always a rather nice thing to have, especially when parking is as tight as it sometimes is around here.

I'm quite surprised at how little it cost to insure. It was only just under ?700 for fully comprehensive cover for the year. Very surprising, given that when I was 20 I was getting quotes for ?1,800 for the Micra and my father's aging Daihatsu Charade automatic.

Now all I need to do is find a stereo for this car. The garage was supposed to fit one but forgot, so they've said they'll keep their word and put the stereo in when they find one. I hope they don't give me a CD player though, because then I won't be able to plug my iPod mini into the car!
